How to Always Succeed in School
¨ Many people
avoid making decisions their whole lives, so their decisive faculty of mind,
the faculty of discrimination, becomes rusty and dies. Such people become
totally dependent on others. When we study the four functions of the mind—Bodhi,
the faculty of decisiveness; ego, the
principle of identity; chitta, the store house of impressions; and manes, the
importer and exporter of sensation and experience—then we become aware of the
power of the will.
¨ Watch what you
do on a daily basis. We become what we do and think about. If you think about
being a great student-you will become a great student-you will become a great
student.
